Blogging.

I never realized how much time I actually put into the blog and reading blogs. And it’s hard work. And I’m exhausted. All. The. Time. And it’s not fair to you if I don’t post regularly, right?

I’m back to working a regular gig, and I spend a lot of my time writing for work or commuting…and then I’m tired. And want to sleep. I have about 3 hours of free time between work and sleep. And somewhere in there I have to cook, eat, and maybe work out.

Someone talk me off the ledge here…

      1. Hun when does the internet NOT lie?

But yeah, I feel like such a bad reader because there are days at a time where I don’t even have time to read or comment πŸ™ Bad Ashley πŸ™ That pesky employment and sleep are always getting in the way.

  1. Finding balance between work/work/life/keeping sane is difficult! Do what’s best for you! I’d miss reading your blog, but I wouldn’t get as much pleasure from it if I knew the blogger was stressed about writing. You could do a trial and post less often?

    1. I promise I’m not quitting. April Fool’s and all that jazz. You’re awesome. I may drop down to 4 days if things get too hectic…but I’m trying a new format with shorter posts–save the long tales for my book πŸ˜‰

  2. I was thinking the same thing a few days ago. I would miss your blog if you gave up completely. As far as not posting consistently… so what if you miss some? It’s your life and your blog, so do what works for you. I hope you decide to keep blogging, at least some of the time!

  3. Don’t jump. I’m inconsistent at best. If I can ever get my categories straight, my friends will find what they want when they visit. I kind of feel relieved when my favorites don’t post every single day. I can’t read it all.

  4. If you quit blogging it has to be for an amazing reason…like you are making cheese or wine or both. Actually, then you could just blog about cheese and wine. Nope, you can never quit. NEVER!
