4 Super Simple Laundry Hacks to Keep Your Clothes Clean and Fresh

You guys know how much I hate laundry. Even when we lived in an apartment, with a washer and dryer setup right outside our bedroom door, it wasn’t on my list of things I loved to do.

Luckily, I’ve been working with some really awesome companies that are simplifying laundry for me so I can properly respond to the stains and spills that happen around here on a daily basis, and I’ve partnered with some of these brands and bloggers to share a few super easy laundry hacks.

I destroyed this poor shirt while cooking.

I destroyed this poor shirt while cooking.

Four Fabulous Laundry Hacks

1. Sick of ironing? Put your iron away and use Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus instead. Just spray, smooth and tug and watch those wrinkles disappear. I’m a big fan of this method, because it’s hard enough for me to remember to remove laundry from the dryer, let alone iron it right away. And I never travel without it.

DWR to the rescue

  1. Have a stain while you’re out and about? Use the Dreft Stain Stick to remove the stain ASAP. You know how I like to spill things on myself, especially food things. Mostly food things that leave stains. I always have a stain stick on me – at home, at work, and in my purse or backpack.

  2. Keep forgetting those wet towels in the wash? Febreze In-Wash Odor Eliminator to the rescue. Add some to your next load of laundry, and #SinktheStink. I’m so glad there are products like this to help me when I’m forgetful. Seriously, I can’t even tell you how many times we’ve had to rewash stuff because we left it in the washer a little too long.

  3. Trying to get your clothes as soft as possible – and don’t have an HE washer? Try the Downy Ball. As long as I can remember, we’ve had a dispenser for the fabric softener, but if you don’t, this could make it way easier.

4 Super Easy Laundry Hacks (1)

What laundry tips do you have for me? What makes it easier for you to get laundry done in your home?

No one paid me any dollars to say nice things about these products, though I have received free samples to provide my opinion and share it on social media.

Quirky Chrissy’s Adult (Not DIRTY Adult – Just Grown-Up Adult You Sicko) Holiday Gift Guide Extravaganza!

Shopping for kiddos is easy. Shopping for grown ups? Not so much. As adults, we tend to buy what we want when we want it. Okay, Brian and I do, anyways. So from November 1 through December 25, Brian is under a strict no-purchase rule, as he has, on more than one occasion, bought what I was planning to buy him for Christmas/birthday/etc.  But I’ve crossed paths with several really fun and unique gift ideas (okay and some tried-and-true ideas too) that you can steal (don’t actually steal the products, homies – just steal my ideas) to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Okay, fine. Everyone above the age of 12. And in some cases the age of 21. I’m not encouraging illegal gift giving here, people.

The Best Gifts for Him

I may not be a dude, but I’ve got a dude in my life who is REALLY flippin’ hard to shop for. Last year I made him a romantical (slightly funny) book of looooooove swoon and he actually really loved it. He’s sentimental like that. Here are a few top picks from Brian (okay fine. I added a few of my own too, since he was mostly unhelpful…Amazon gift cards are not PRESENTS Brian.

Wireless, keyboardless keyboard

Brian was a big fan of this gift I got him for his birthday. It’s gadgety and techy and cool. It works pretty well too! My cousin sent me a link showing me how sweet it was, and I knew that was exactly what I needed to get for Brian. We’ve used it for the internetty stuff we do on the TV, because it’s way easier than trying to navigate with the regular remote.

ThinkGeek Goodies

Brian suggested shopping around ThinkGeek for cool stuff. If you’re like me, and hoard Amazon gift cards from the internet, you can find a bunch of Think Geek products available on that big box digital retailer of joy. Plus free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime. Please note, Brian also suggested Amazon gift cards as gifts. I only half acknowledged that. Because I prefer to find the best presents for the people.

The Best Gifts for Her

Speaking as a lady, I’ve got some adorable ideas for lady gifts that I have, love or want. These are those.

Get Fit for the Holidays with terrific yoga gifts from YogaAccessories.com

Handmade art jewelry

My pal Lily makes the BEST art jewelry. With glass stones and alcohol ink, Lily creates one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces that any lady would be lucky to have. I have one of her pendants and always get the best compliments when I wear it! The prices at Dome Life Studio are also quite reasonable, so maybe pick one up for yourself, too.

Zazzle Home goodies

I LOVE Zazzle. I’ve actually bought Brian a ton of gifts from Zazzle (a couple of mugs with octopods and a really sweet wall clock for his zone in the office), but I recently had the opportunity to try out some of the Zazzle Home products and thought they were super awesome. Zazzle offered to send me a product of my choice from their home department.  I spent hours perusing the pillows, lamps, blankets and poufs. I eventually settled on the polka dot pouf beside my reading chair, and it was the perfect addition to our home.  Not only is it adorable and (sort of) matchy matchy with my polka dot blanket, but it served as additional seating when we had 64 people in our house a few weeks ago. It was easy to pull up to the circle and join the conversation, and it was comfortable too! It’s a little squishy, but mostly solid and ideal as a foot rest or seating. A few days after I received the pouf, I found myself scouring the pillow collection to see what else they had. I really wanted something with chevrons, so I got a pillow in the same colors, but with chevrons. I think it turned out pretty well, if I don’t say so myself.

Gifts for Kids at Heart

If you’re like me (or your gift recipient is like me), these fun and lighthearted gifts will brighten their day in a way that only a child at heart can understand. From toys for grown ups to grown-up things featuring toys, you’re going to appreciate these epic finds as much as I have.

Fun Wall Art

I received a really fun canvas from Patents Wall Art in order to tell you about it. You guys! I couldn’t decide what to get. While there were some cool mechanical/sciency/adulty patents available on canvas, I opted for something a little more my style. My decision was wavering between Mickey and LEGO patents, and ultimately, I went with Mickey Mouse. Because Walt Disney is one of my creative heroes. And he created Mickey Mouse. With Patents Wall Art, you can choose any pattern in several different colors. My personal favorites were navy, green and natural. Ultimately, I went with the natural shade, so I could match it in any space (as we hadn’t bought our house or moved yet). Now it lives in my office nook, waiting to get hung on the wall. The product itself is pretty nice. The canvas comes mounted on wood and looks really cool in our office. I’m a fan.

Games

Last year, Brian stocked my up on Cards Against Humanity, Munchkin holiday cards and other choice gamer games. It made me happy. So I am an advocate for game gifts. I even put together a widget of games you should buy on Amazon. You’re welcome. You can find it here in the sidebar——————————————->

Of course, when I was at the ChiTAG Fair last week, I came across another adult game, that seems to be even more random and inappropriate that Cards Against Humanity. The game is called Utter Nonsense, and the logo is dudes without pants. I repeat. DUDES WITHOUT PANTS.

Utter Nonsense Game

So obviously, I bought it. They were recently funded on Kickstarter (LOVE KS) and are locally based out of Chicago.

The premise is simple: Read cards in funny voices to impress the rotating judge. You can paraphrase to match the voice of your chosen person/dialect/accent. For example, on Instagram, I spoke in my best Caveman voice(and I suck at Caveman), saying something about a photo app and math. Here. I’ll show you.

Stocking Stuffers for Grown Ups

Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you don’t deserve your very own stocking chock full of goodies! As a teenager and adult living at home, Mom used to fill our stocking with the best stuff. Razors. Hair stuff. Beauty stuff. Candy. All the things you need or want, but don’t really want to pay for, amiright? Here are my picks for the best grown-up stocking stuffers this Christmas. Brian, take note.

Nail polish and makeup stocking stuffers

You all know about my Julep obsession, I’m sure. I’ve been a maven since July and I’m addicted. The nail colors are spectacular, and the paint goes on so smoothly! They’ve also got some stellar make up products that I’m a big fan of. The lip gloss has a sweet smell to it that makes me happy. Plus if you sign up to be a maven, you get a 4-piece welcome gift for free. If you don’t sign up to be a maven, they’ve got an awesome clearance section full of fun colors and products, so you don’t feel like you’re breaking the bank on stocking stuffers.

Snow Day Welcome Box Offer

Razors make excellent adult stocking stuffers

Mom always put razors in my stocking stuffers. And I always put them in hers. So it seems like a great idea. Of course, my friends over at ShaveMOB also wanted me to let you know that they’ve got the perfect razor stocking stuffer gift for the holidays, so they sent me a starter set to test their product out. They have razors for men and women, so you can stuff anyone’s stocking. Pink lady razors make me happy, so I was pleased to discover that they sent me a set of pink blades and a pink handle to win me over. You all remember what a pain in the ass it is to shave…so I had a little NoshaveNovtemtober (November/September/October) experiment. When I took to my woolly mammoth legs last week, the ShaveMOB razor did the trick. No cuts, either. Okay fine…just a mini scratching on my wrist. But in general, the razor rocked it. I recommend adding a moisturizing shave cream or gel to the stocking, as these razors don’t have added moisturizers. But the price is right – so I’m totally down with them!

ShaveMOB Razors

Mini bottles of booze

Don’t want the whole gift to be liquor? Stuff his or her stocking with their favorite mini bottles or give them a collection of new and exciting flavors/brands/etc to try. In addition to mini liquor bottles like vodka, whiskey, Bailey’s and tequila, you can find mini bottles of wine and champagne. You can even pick up a pack of pre-mixed shots like Twisted Shotz (which we had at our housewarming party and were oh-so-good) to toss in a big stocking.

Fun socks

Funny story. Amazon suggested that I add these socks to my cart based on my wishlist of slothy stuffed animal joy. I already own them. It’s like Amazon KNOWS me.

Handmade soap

There’s something so natural and fabulous about using handmade soap instead of store-bought soap with all sorts of adding chemicals and stuff. My friend, Kelly, started making her own handmade bars of soap and we’ve been using them. I’m in LOVE. Soft, gentle and aromatic. Brian smells like man with the beer soap and I smell like happiness and girlishness with the White Whey of Delight. You can visit her Etsy Store, The Little Blue Hippo for really fabulous homemade soap.

The Little Blue Hippo Phone and device cases

So a couple years ago, Brian stuffed both of our stockings (he likes to buy BOTH of us Christmas gifts…like last year when he gave me two tablets and said, “pick one.”) with phone cases for our new-ish phones. Speck is one of my favorite products when it comes to protective cases, as they’ve encased my phone in the past, and they currently encase my iPad mini. (I’m not going to lie, after seeing how cool the ShowFolio was, I wanted an iPad mini all to myself just so I could use a ShowFolio and I don’t even like Apple products. Thankfully, my friends at Netflix hooked me up with an iPad mini so I could play with my case.) They’ve got cases for all the most popular devices whether you’re an Android or Little i person. They come in several cool colors for everyone on your list, too!

Right now, Speck’s on sale!. Here are some current and upcoming deals.

Birthday Anxiety

Good morning Blog Friends! My birthday is exactly one week away.  And I love doing fun things FOR YOU on my birthday.

image

So I get birthday anxiety. I don’t know if that’s a thing or not, but if it is, I get it. If you haven’t been around here long, you probably don’t know that I’m definitely the Clark Griswold of my little world. I have high expectations for just about everything…which leads to serious disappointment most of the time.

So I haven’t made plans for the second anniversary of my 29th birthday. Because we’re going to a wedding on my birthday. And I share a birthday with Brian’s brother. And because life has been out of control and busy. Moving is hectic…moving everything into storage and living in someone else’s house is more hectic. Especially when the house feng shui doesn’t jive with your own personal OCD tendencies. But I digress.
All of that is actually OK. I’m excited for the wedding. Brian’s brother is awesome. And a hectic life? Means I’m getting shit done. And the house sitch? Hello house hunting fun!

But birthday anxiety. That is a tricky one. I can’t quit that. Brian and my friends keep asking what I want to do. And telling me to throw a party. (Because I do throw a killer party). But I don’t wanna. I’m not in my own house. I don’t have time to cook or clean. And so I don’t have plans.

image

Instead, I’m going to send YOU joy. Because giving away presents makes me happy. Especially when it’s a giant box of surprises. There will be fun for the whole family (if you feel like sharing) so trust me when I say you want to win.

But how do you win? Easy. Just leave a comment below with an answer to the following questions. You can gain an extra entry through social media by sharing this post, just make sure you tag me.

Do you get birthday anxiety? If you do, how do you deal with it? What’s the best part of your birthday? What should I do for my birthday?

Get Excited for Toys and Games! (Plus the chance to win FREE passes!)

What’s that Blog Friends? It’s NOVEMBER already?

Time sure does fly around here…

I’m gearing up for my nerdiness and getting stoked for 2 of my favorite November events. PlayCHIC and ChiTAG And I’d LOVE it if you would join me at the fair.

Chrissy at the Fashion Show

If you remember from last year, I attended the  amazing PlayCHIC fashion show, in which fashion and toys were combined with one amazing night of joy with snacks. And cocktails. And fun.

And I even pretended that I was a top fashion maven. Or something like that.

Word Winder

Word Winder and Chicago designer Gibeon Tolbert worked together to create this dress and tie combo at the 2012 PlayCHIC show. This was my favorite. Obviously.

This year, the event is from 7-10 pm on Thursday, November 21 at the River East Art Center in Chicago. And I can’t wait to see what they’ve come up with this year! If you end up attending as well, look for me and say hi!

Of course, this super fun event is all part of the week leading up to the Chicago Toy and Game Fair, where a variety of game designers, companies and more gather to show off the hottest toys of the season. Last year, I had a BLAST.

Giant Bananagrams

I played with Banagrams…

Settlers of Catan Tournament

I played in a fancy tournament.

Quirky Chrissy meets R2D2!

I even met R2D2!

But toys and games aren’t fun alone! So I’m inviting you to attend this fabulous event with me, the weekend of November 23 & 24 at Navy Pier. ChiTAG is celebrating the 11th anniversary of this interactive fair, where you and your kiddos can enjoy play, buy games, participate in Guiness World Records and more!

Chicago Toy & Game Fair

You can purchase tickets for this event at the door with this $2.00 off coupon, but you can also try your luck at winning one of the 3 weekend family passes that I’ll be giving away this month! All you have to do to enter? Leave a comment below telling me why you think the Chicago Toy and Game Fair is going to be AWESOME this year. Or why you want to go. Or why you think I’m awesome. I’m pretty open as long as the comment is happy and positive and mentions toys or games. Because this is a fun event!

Silly Chrissy forgot to add…I’ll be giving away 1 weekend family pass to the Chicago Toy and Game Fair every Friday from now until the event. Good luck.

I’ll be attending the fair on both Saturday and Sunday–with Sunday being a date that I’ve set up with some of the children in my little world. And if you see me? PLEASE say hi!

What are you excited about this month?!

*Note: I was not paid to say nice things, but I was offered the invitation to attend both of the events mentioned this month. That doesn’t make me like them any more. Well, maybe a little. But I always have a good time. And you will too.

Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon…

What’s up guys! I’m back with another sweet ass product review and GIVEAWAY for you to check out. I got in contact with the fine people at Hank Player USA after checking out their awesome sauce t-shirts. They sent me a surprise t-shirt, which was fun because seriously, guys…who doesn’t LOVE surprises?!

Hank Player Logo

I received the softest, most comfortable tee I’ve ever worn in my entire life. No joke. AND it’s super stretchy. And it’s ridiculously cute. Would I have bought this design on my own accord? Probably not. Would I wear the shit out of it anyways? Hell yes. In fact, it was the perfect tee to wear for wheelie sneaks practice. My mom totally loved it too, and she’s one tough cookie to crack. Sometimes.

Cute tee from Hank Player

I made Brian take the picture from the top because it makes me look skinnier.

So let me tell you about Hank Player.

Everything is made in the US of A. They support numerous charities, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign. The shirts have been featured on The Big Bang Theory for all you nerds out there. They are the officially licensed retailer of NASA, Smokey Bear (Only YOU can prevent forest fires) and Woodsy Owl (Give a Hoot; Don’t Pollute!) merchandise so you can rock out in some fabulous retro gear.

Of course, they have stuff for everyone in the family, so get something for your squishy nephew or your favorite tiny human, while you’re shopping for yourself, your pals and anyone else who loves a cool tee-shirt. Seriously guys. This site rocks.

If I had gotten to choose which tee I got, I would have picked this one:

Surrender Dorothy Hank Player

In addition to t-shirts, you can find hats, bags and more to indulge your inner accessory lover. So go check them out!

And it wouldn’t be a solid review without a sweet ass giveaway to boot! One lucky winner will receive TWO surprise t-shirts from Hank Player in the size of your choice. Lots of ways to enter, so you can earn MANY entries to this bangin’ giveaway.

I could list the amazing things and people that have been a part of my life over the course of the last year since my first official blog post. To call it a journey seems silly, but that is exactly what I’ve had. A journey. Personally. Professionally. Emotionally. Physically. I have walked a thousand miles in my own shoes, and I have a year of blogging/reflecting to prove it. And I’m not done yet.

Because of YOU though, it’s been a very unique journey. One that only a blogger would understand. I’ve made friends around the world. I’ve shared personal stories. I’ve become a better writer because I read your writing. And you inspire me.

So today, I’m asking that when you comment on the blog, you share your own work. If you’re not a blogger or an artist, tell me something about yourself. And in return, as a glorious reward, we’ll have not one, but TWO giveaways. (And the Amazon Surprise Giveaway & Zazzle Giveaway are still open for your commenting–All of this week’s giveaways will run until Monday, June 3).

Tastefully Simple Recipe Ideas – Dips and Desserts!

Good morning, Blog Friends!

Tastefully Simple Products

I spent a brief period selling Tastefully Simple products (and was terrible at it, mostly because I only wanted the discount and didn’t really focus on the selling part), so I’m quite familiar with them. And they rock.

The perks of Tastefully Simple

  • Tastefully Simple products are great for people who love good food and don’t have a lot of time to spend cooking. All of the products can be easily made using 1-2 ingredients within an hour.
  • The possibilities are endless. I’ve included some of the recipes that I created with TS products on my own, but the website also offers a HUGE recipe bank of ideas.
  • They offer standard and seasonal products, so the product list is always changing, but they always offer fan favorites.
  • The products will ship to your door quickly and easily by purchasing items through their online shop.

Here are 3 recipes of my own creation that I absolutely LOVE:

Light Spinach and Bacon Dip

Bacon Bacon

  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1/2 cup light mayo
  • 2 Tbs Tastefully Simple Bacon Bacon™
  • 1 Tbs Tastefully Simple Spinach & Herb Dip Mix

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve with raw veggies, pretzels, or reduced guilt potato chips (I like Trader Joe’s the best). Brian and I may or may not have consumed an entire bag of chips and the whole damn dip during one weekend Dr. Who marathon…

Absolutely Almond Pound Cake™ French Toast with Strawberry Rhubarb Syrup

Absolutely Almond Pound Cake

This is NOT a light recipe. But it’s certainly a delicious one.

Pound Cake recipe:

  • 1 box Tastefully Simple Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix™
  • 3/4 cup butter (I use whipped butter)
  • 1 cup water

Mix ingredients, pour into a greased loaf pan, and bake at 325 for 45 minutes.

French toast  and syrup recipe:

  • 4 slices of Tastefully Simple Absolutely Almond Pound Cake™
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 Tbs Tastefully Simple Rhubarb Strawberry Fruit Spread

Combine egg and milk-stir well. Coat each slice of pound cake lightly in the egg mixture. Heat a greased pan to medium heat, and place the coated slices in the pan. Cook each side until golden brown. Combine maple syrup and fruit spread, stirring well. (Optional: warm syrup in the microwave). Serve.

Key Lime Coconut Yogurt Fruit Dip

Tastefully Simple Key Lime Cheese Ball

  • 1 box Tastefully Simple Key Lime Cheese Ball Mix
  • 1 cup fat free Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbs Tropical Coconut Balsamic de Modena (or any coconut flavored white balsamic vinegar)
  • Tropical fruit (I used mango, papaya, and pineapple) cut in cubes

Combine the first 3 ingredients (discard the graham cracker crumbs from the cheese ball mix or save for another recipe). Serve chilled with tropical fruit.

What do you think? Have you ever used Tastefully Simple products? Did you create any of your own recipes? Tell me in the comments below.

*I was not compensated for the nice things that I have said about Tastefully Simple, nor was I contacted by anyone affiliated with the company to write this post. I just enjoy the products and decided to share them with you.

Random Giveaway!

I’m Personally Helping Keep the USPS in Business

The other day, I spent some dollars at the post office. And I left feeling better than I had in a long freakin’ time. Among other things, I sent a random present to Katie at Words for Worms. And I wasn’t even planning on it! It just sort of happened.

I mean, when you walk into the post office and the cutest penguin Christmas cards ever are staring at you on the clearance rack, you don’t just walk away from that shit. Especially if your best friend has an unhealthy obsession with penguins. You just don’t. And if you’re at the post office when it happens…all the better. It’s like, screaming to be shipped off to its future owner. And then hopefully that adorbs baby penguin face will make it onto my Christmas card wall next year.

I’m not going to lie. Yesterday, I started getting a little weepy. What if the world DOES end tomorrow? Brian’s not going to be home. If the world is going to end, I want to spend my last night with him. So I went over to his mom’s to hang out.

But I started thinking about the possibilities for the end of the world and my chances of survival. Here goes:

A Great Flood

Survival odds: 7/10

As I am a lover of all things water, and think that I was a fish/dolphin in another life (though I don’t think that I would start growing fins), I think I would do well in a floody apocalypse. Of course, this would largely depend on the availability of Meclizine. For those of you who don’t know, I suffer from acute vertigo (which is a doctor’s fancy way of saying, “We have no idea why you get dizzy for weeks/months on end…here have some drugs.”) It’s fine on most days that don’t include heavy motion of non-joy. Rollercoasters=fine. Motion simulators=bad. Boats=50/50.

Nuclear Warfare

Survival odds: 0/10

I live 30 minutes west of Chicago. If nuclear war goes global, I’m out, yo. Or I’ll have 5 arms and 7 eyes and 3 boobs. You know, either way, I don’t consider that survival. That’s mutation.

Infectious Disease Epidemic

Survival odds: 5/10

I like to think that my immunity to a lot of normal illnesses would keep me safe, but it is really a tough call. I’ll give it my best shot and hope that I’m standing in Colorado with Gary Sinise Brian and that I don’t have to go out West to fight the really bad guys (see: odd of survival with nuclear warfare.) BTW, Have I mentioned that I have a secret crush on Gary Sinise?

Alien Apocalypse

Survival odds: 3/10

This depends greatly on whether or not the aliens in question are more locked tight in machines or evil intelligent beings. And whether or not I’ve got the help of any of the following eye candy: Noah Wyle, Will Smith, Bill Pullman (Quiet, you! I like the goofy actors! And seriously…Have you not seen While You Were Sleeping?)

Crazy Winter Storm with Wolves

Survival odds: 4/10

Well, I live in Chicago, where the weather changes drastically every 30 minutes, so I’m not concerned with a little cold weather or snow (not that I’m a fan or anything). I’ve hung out a Bears games with -10 temps and survived. But ice and I…we go way back… Remember my skiing incidents? So, we’ll see. I’m definitely not hoping for this one.

Meteors Becoming Crashed Into Us

Survival odds: 5/10

I suppose that if there’s no super sweet drilling machine to save us all, this one could catastrophic…maybe. If the meteor does crash in, like, the ocean causing a huge tidal wave, I’d try to be on some serious high ground. Though we’ve already mentioned that I may be okay in the event of a great flood, if the meteor crashes right into my space, I’m out. So 50/50.

Electricity-Free Apocalypse

Survival odds: 9/10

If the worst thing to happen to the world were for the power to go out…I think I’d be alright. Sure I’d miss blogging, but I would still write. Ever heard of a book? I’d miss my people around the world, but I would be okay. I mean…I’d leave Chicago for some place warm, so as not to worry about winter without heat, but I think I’d do alright. Maybe I’d become a great leader (and not be a douche who kills my best friend’s brother)…Considering my digital footprint that started some time around college would disappear…I think it’s a good plan.

Zombie Apocalypse

Survival odds: 4/10

If we still lived in the old house, maybe my chances would be greater. There were a lot more weapons there than there are here. I do have enough food to last 2 of us several weeks, though. (Bonus!) And an escape route (Yep a front and back door to our apartment). And we’re on the second floor, so it would be harder for zombies to come get me. But once it was time to get on the move and team up with other humans…that would not be cool. Other humans are stupid. They have cage matches with zombies. They go on mall shopping sprees because there are not people around. They get themselves trapped in malls. They forget to use protection and get pregnant mid-zombie apocalypse.

If you can name all of the movie/TV references that I’ve subtly and not so subtly entered into this post, you’ll be entered into a random drawing for a sweet secret prize. There are a lot of references in here folks. To be fair, I will not approve any comments on this post until Sunday (when the guessing ends at midnight, you know…assuming the world doesn’t end).
